About Maggie

Maggie Raboin is an ecologist and writer with a background in behavioral ecology, wildlife biology, and animal communication. She received her B.Sc in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana and recently received her PhD in Environmental Science Policy and Management at the University of California Berkeley.

 

Maggie’s research seeks to uncover the ways that invertebrates are affected by human-created environmental change. Specifically, her work investigates the impact of anthropogenic noise and winter climate change on invertebrates in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. In addition to research, Maggie is involved in various teaching and outreach organizations and likes to spend her time in the mountains hiking, biking, and skiing.
